Rams Offense Aims to Score Any Way Possible

The Los Angeles Rams are on a three-game winning streak and hope to win their fourth straight against the Miami Dolphins on Monday. The Rams’ offense has become increasingly efficient over the past few weeks as the unit has become healthier.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford declared that it doesn’t matter to him how the Rams’ offense scores as long as they score points.

“I think every game is different,” Stafford said. “(It’s) a good sign because it means we’re getting to the end zone. Let me give the ball to Kyren (Williams) for a two-way lead and whether we score or not, it doesn’t really matter to me, to be honest.

“I want us to get to the end zone as much as we can. We’ve thrown the ball into the end zone a few times in the last few weeks and it’s worked for us, which is a big plus for us.”

“I think if you ask anyone on our team, we just want to put it out there. We don’t care how it works.”

The veteran quarterback has been a part of offenses that excel at passing to score and vice versa, rather than running to score. Stafford isn’t picky about how the Rams score, though.

“I’ve been on some teams where we had a hard time running the ball, and that was the best way to get into the end zone,” Stafford said.

“Some teams are different. Every dynamic of every team is different.”

The Rams have scored nine goals and allowed eight goals this season. Stafford noted that Los Angeles has done a solid job of getting the ball into the end zone in a variety of ways this season.

“Sometimes we’re better at running it from the bottom up. We did a great job this year running inside the five yard line and getting the ball into the end zone.

“(It’s) week by week, depending on About what defense will give you. You have to go out there and attack.

“Some weeks we turned the ball over, other weeks it was like that. Let’s try to create some matchups in the passing game. We go out there and try to get the ball into the end zone as much as we can.”
