MANSFIELD, Ohio (WOIO) – A man and a woman are dead after a murder-suicide at an apartment last week.

Mansfield police officers responded to the 300 block of Wood St. around 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.

When they arrived, they said they found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

The woman was pronounced dead a short time later at Ohio Health, and the man died a few hours later.

Detectives said they do not believe any other people were involved in the attack.
