A man in his 40s was rushed to a trauma center after being stabbed in downtown Toronto Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to a park at Dundas and Bay streets around 12:13 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.

Police teams arrived at the scene and identified the injured person.

The injured, who was seriously but not life-threatening, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

There is no information on suspects or arrests at this time.
