Joey Logano won the race and held off Ryan Blaney to win his third NASCAR Cup Series championship.

Ryan Blaney chased teammate Joey Logano for the race lead and the championship. Blaney on Logano’s bumper.

Blaney uses the outside line, as he has been doing in traffic all day, to pass Logano late.

Ryan Blaney cut the 2.3-second lead over Team Penske teammate Joey Logano to just over half a second.

Joey Logano took the lead by 2.3 seconds, but Ryan Blaney and William Byron battled for second. Blaney passed Byron in Turn 3 and is now trailing his Team Penske teammate late in the race.

After a long battle with Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney passed Kyle Larson and moved into third place. He made a sharp move at the start-finish line. He’s more than three seconds behind race leader Joey Logano. William Byron is in second place, less than two seconds behind Logano.

Ryan Blaney is in fourth place, behind Joey Logano and William Byron in the first two places, and Kyle Larson is in third place. Larson blocks Blaney as he races.

Joey Logano made a hard move, passed William Byron and took the lead, taking the lead by five car lengths.

Logano restarted fifth and the drivers are racing each other through the field.

After taking the lead under caution, William Byron leads the field back to green with just over 50 laps remaining.

William Byron will take advantage of his track position, but will be wary of getting new tires for the remainder of the Championship 4.

William Byron had just gone under the green flag. Zane Smith then clipped a tire into the outside wall to bring out the second caution in race conditions and the fourth caution overall.

Kyle Larson is ahead, with Ryan Blaney the top driver in the Championship 4 and sitting in fourth place.

William Byron runs long on the green flag pit loop, hoping to get a caution flag. Ryan Blaney rejoined the track ahead of Joey Logano after the green flag pit stop. Christopher Bell is expected to return to the lead if the race remains green with Ryan Blaney and possibly the leading driver of the Championship 4.

Ryan Blaney followed Joey Logano and passed him at Turn 3 to take the top spot among the Championship 4 drivers. Blaney now sits in second place as the teams make a green flag pit stop.

Joey Logano passed Ryan Blaney for second place and was second to Christopher Bell with 100 laps remaining at Phoenix. Logano currently leads the Championship 4 drivers in the top 5.

William Byron beat Joey Logano in the pit lane to flip the two drivers.

Ryan Blaney reduced Christopher Bell’s 2.2 second lead to less than half a second towards the end of the 2nd stage. Blaney runs the preferred line on the inside of the racetrack, even driving below the yellow line (which is allowed), while Bell battles the usual traffic.

Joey Logano and William Byron battled for third place for a few laps. Logano made a masterful move, using the momentum from his great exit into Turn 4 to make a move towards the inside of Turn 2 to pass Byron. Logano currently sits third behind Blaney, who passed Christopher Bell for the lead.

Jackman, one of the crew members on Joey Logano’s team, is not feeling well and is carried away in a golf cart by the AMR Security Team. There’s no clear reason as to what he’s dealing with. The jackman from Austin Cindric’s team was moved to pit #22, and the #21 jackman from Harrison Burton’s team, Wood Brothers Racing (which is a sister team to Team Penske), was moved to pit #2.

After a clean green flag pit stop cycle, Christopher Bell returned to the lead. Ryan Blaney was second, William Byron was third, and Joey Logano was fourth. Tyler Reddick is ranked ninth.

Green flag pit stops have begun at Phoenix Raceway for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race in Phoenix. Justin Haley left the pit box and slightly cut into the path of Joey Logano. Other than that, there are no major problems with this motorcycle on pit road.

Bell, who was eliminated from the play-offs in Martinsville last week, led the last 33 laps and retired from the field. Ryan Blaney made a move on Chase Elliott from the outside of Turn 3 to take second place, just over two seconds behind Bell.

When the car hit the barrels, sand from the inside covered the pit lane. The team at the track cleared the sand and the cars were fired up again.

During the first pit stops of the race, Joey Logano dropped four positions from pit road to take fifth and third place among the Championship 4 drivers. William Byron is third and the top driver in the Championship 4, led by Chase Elliott.

Joey Logano won the opening stage of Sunday’s race in Phoenix. Martin Truex Jr. He was close to Logano’s rear bumper in the closing laps of the stage. All four pilots in the championship are in the top 10 after the first 60 laps of the race.

Joey Logano, who started second and was one of the Championship 4 drivers, took the lead by passing Martin Truex Jr. on the outside of Turn 3.

Martin Truex Jr. as the race turned green early in stage 1. continues its leadership.

Ty Gibbs appeared to cut the right-side tire exiting Turn 4 and then smacked it sharply into the outside wall to bring out the first caution of the race. He broke free near the start-finish line and hit the wall hard. The car was pointed at the wall, but he turned the car before hitting the wall.

Martin Truex Jr. leads the field to green at Phoenix in his final full-time race in the NASCAR Cup Series. Four drivers compete for the Bill France Cup and NASCAR Cup Series championships.

Cars will race all over the race track, even on the asphalt hairpins below the starting line. Speeds will be slow entering corners, but drivers should be able to get back on the gas quickly for quick exits.

Riders will be next to each other quite often. Expect to see a lot of contact between drivers, especially near the end of the race.
