There were a lot of names listed on the Philadelphia Eagles’ injury report from Wednesday through Friday. The Birds would eventually list Ben VanSumeren as the only player questionable for Sunday’s Week 10 game.

Then came better news. They upgraded him to the ‘no status’ tag on the eve of Philly’s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, indicating he had completed concussion protocol and was ready to play.

Jalen Hurts’ streak of games without a turnover has ended. On the first play of the second quarter, Dallas looked for Goedert in the end zone and instead found a former teammate at Alabama. Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs came down with an interception.

Goedert went to the medical tent after that, but Philly survived a scare and got back on the Eagles’ ensuing offensive drive.

Update: Good news to report. Darius Slay returned to the game with 9:21 left in the 2nd quarter.

Slay returned to the field. If he can finish this, that’s good news. No one needs to ask questions about how tough he is. He’s definitely an actor.
