Woman charged with burglary of now-closed Country Club Plaza business

KANSAS CITY, MO. (KCTV) – A woman has been charged in connection with the theft of hundreds of dollars’ worth of items from a Country Club Plaza business that has since been closed.

Documents submitted to the institution Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court Tiara l on Friday, November 8th. Arther, 29, of Kansas City, was charged in connection with the theft of hundreds of dollars in North Face merchandise from the now-closed Country Club Plaza business.

Court records revealed that on Nov. 2, 2023, Arther held a Moosejaw employee at gunpoint while he stole approximately $750 from the North Face. The business was then located at 439 W. 47th St. in the Country Club Plaza. It was located at.

As a result, Arther was charged with harassment, armed criminal action and burglary. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to 26 years in prison and fined $20,000. An arrest warrant has not yet been issued and he does not appear to be behind bars. The pre-trial conference is expected to be held at 10 a.m. on December 20.
