GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office says one victim died in a fatal crash at a car lot in Greer.

Max Charles Harris, 39, of Greenville, was a passenger in a Honda traveling eastbound on Highway 29 in Greer on Saturday, according to the coroner.

The coroner said the Honda left Highway 29 and crashed into vehicles in a Greer Mitsubishi car lot.

Harris was taken to Spartanburg Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:38 p.m., the medical examiner said.

The Greer Police Department is investigating the crash.
