The 2024 Strictly Come Dancing star’s partner has revealed the hurtful messages he has had to deal with. Katie Dadzie, who is engaged to Nick Knowles, said she constantly has to deal with people calling her a “gold digger”.

That’s probably because he’s around 30 years younger than the 62-year-old DIY SOS star, which of course is no excuse. Katie wrote: Sun He explains how he experiences anxiety and what he has to go through.

He especially shared his struggle with racist trolls. Katie, 33, wrote: One of the hardest things we’ve faced as a couple has been hurtful comments, including nasty Instagram messages calling me a gold digger and pointing out I’ve gained weight.

“There were also racist comments saying I looked like I had creosote wood stain. As someone who suffers from anxiety, this really affected my self-confidence.

“I would say to myself ‘look how ugly I look’.”

He also admitted that this “invasiveness” made him question his relationship with the star. The couple is engaged but they do not always live together.

The 62-year-old actor’s time on the program was unlucky. He had to perform despite his injury as he injured his arm while changing a car tire in the second week.
