Counterfeit Paddington Bear products, expected to sell for more than £15,000, were seized in a trading standards operation in west London.

Nearly 2,000 counterfeit products were seized from stores in Notting Hill, where some scenes from the Paddington Bear film series were filmed.

Magnets, bags, shot glasses, playing card packs, thimbles and spoon rests were found in five shops on Earl’s Court Road.

According to Kensington and Chelsea Council, 1,500 counterfeit items, including tote bags worth £10 each, were seized in a raid on Portobello Road.
