His mustache has been Googled almost 140,000 times in the last 11 months, with the majority of these events occurring in the last 12 weeks alone.

Tom’s mustache has been searched almost 70,000 times since January and his former TV roles are still remembered for his famous moustachioed look.

Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash star Miles Teller sported a magnificent mustache when he starred opposite Tom Cruise in the sequel to the 1986 Hollywood classic.

His mustache became so popular and added so much to his look in the movie that there are even YouTube tutorials on how to get it!

Almost 45,000 people Googled the mustache Miles wore for his role as Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw; Tom Cruise’s Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell takes him under his wing.

In the film, Rooster is the son of Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw, played by Anthony Edwards. Goose dies tragically before the end of the original film.

Goose’s defining characteristic was certainly his blond moustache, and his legacy has clearly been carried on by his son in the film, which grossed more than £1bn worldwide in 2022.
