To celebrate Veterans Day, many restaurants are offering deals and free gifts for veterans and current military personnel.

Here are some of the places offering food deals this year. Proof of service, such as a military ID, is required for most of these offers. Since deals and discounts may vary, restaurants also encourage you to call ahead to make sure a particular location matches the deal.

Where to get free food and meals on Veterans Day 2024?

Applebee’s

Applebee’s offers veterans and active military a free entrée for lunch or dinner. Options include the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, 6-ounce Top Sirloin, Chicken Tender Plates, Double Crispy Shrimp, Fiesta Lemon Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad and Three Cheese Chicken Penne, according to the restaurant’s description. website.

In addition to free admission, veterans will also receive a $5 return pass that can be used within a three-week redemption period.

California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen offers veterans and active military members free beverages and entrées from a select menu of salads, pasta and pizzas.

Charley’s Cheese Steaks

Charley’s Cheesesteaks is offering free orders of gourmet fries for active-duty military members and veterans, according to a report shared with the Deseret News. This includes cheese fries, cheese and bacon fries, and Charley’s Ultimate Fries, which feature the restaurant’s signature melted cheddar cheese sauce, bacon, and ranch dressing.

El Pollo Loco is offering free admission to veterans, active military, local first responders, healthcare professionals, teachers and government officials on Nov. 12, according to information shared with the Deseret News. Entree options include any Pollo Bowl, Classic Chicken Tostada Salad, burrito, or two-piece chicken dinner. Deal valid at El Pollo Loco Utah locations in West Jordan, Sandy, Lehi and Orem.

Golden Corral

According to information shared with the Deseret News, Golden Corral’s 23rd annual Military Appreciation Night will be held on Nov. 11 from 4 p.m. to close and will offer a free buffet and beverages to active U.S. military, retired military and veterans.

IHOP

IHOP is offering a free red, white and blueberry pancake combo for veterans and active military. The agreement will be valid from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday. website.

Maverik — The First Stop of the Adventure

Maverik is offering free coffee to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, according to a report shared with the Deseret News.

Country Steakhouse

Country Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin’ Onion appetizer and drink with the purchase of an entrée for veterans and active military. The deal will be valid from November 9-11.

Raising Cane

According to an email shared with Deseret News, Raising Cane’s will offer a 10% discount on the entire meal for active or inactive military, firefighters, police, EMTs and their spouses when they mention the Hero Discount Program at registration.

Red Robin

Starbucks

Starbucks offers a free 12 ounces of hot or cold brewed coffee for veterans, active military and their spouses.

Texas Roadhouse

Tucanos Brazilian Grill
