Week 11 college football live scores, updates: Miami at Georgia Tech, Florida at Texas and more

The SEC takes center stage once again in Week 11.

The only two games featuring ranked teams both come to the SEC and serve as playoff games for both the SEC championship and the College Football Playoff. No. 3 Georgia visits No. 16 Ole Miss in the afternoon before No. 11 Alabama plays No. 14 LSU.

Look no further than the Big 12 as the SEC will dominate the day. No. 9 BYU sits alone in first place and prepares to renew its rivalry with Utah, while No. 20 Colorado plays at Texas Tech in a game that will seriously damage the loser’s conference title hopes.

Here’s what we’ll be watching this week. All times are Eastern and all odds are from BetMGM.

Time: 15:30 | Television: ABC | Line: Georgia -2.5 | Total: 54.5

This game could come down to which quarterback plays better. While Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart enters Heisman conversation In recent weeks, Georgia’s Carson Beck has taken a step back, throwing 11 INTs in the last five games. But Beck has emerged when Georgia needed him, and a wild defensive front could pose a problem for the Rebels, just as it did when these teams met last year.

Time: 15:30 | TV: ESPN | Line: Clemson -6.5 | Total: 53.5

Clemson laid an egg at home against Louisville last week and now probably has to win to have a shot at the ACC championship game. Can Clemson’s offense get its way against a Virginia Tech defense that allows opposing QBs to complete just 56% of their passes? Virginia Tech QB Kyron Drones and RB Bhayshul Tuten could return to the field after missing last week’s game with injuries.

Time: 16:00 | TV: Fox | Line: Colorado -3.5 | Total: 62.5

Considering how Texas Tech’s season has gone, this will be a close game. Five of the Red Raiders’ six conference games were decided by one score. But opposing quarterbacks wore down the defense. This could be good news and a high offense for Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.

Time: 19:30 | Television: ABC | Line: Alabama -3 | Total: 58.5

The loser will surely be out of the College Football Playoff race and face a third loss barring a wild finish to the season. Can LSU’s defense hold its own against dual-threat Alabama QB Jalen Milroe? Alabama will need to be much more composed than it was in its last road game. The Crimson Tide has been penalized 69 times in eight games. The night crowds at Tiger Stadium won’t make things any easier.

Time: 22:15 ET | TV: ESPN | Line: BYU-4 | Total: 40.5

The two fierce rivals face off for the first time since 2021 and their first time as members of the Big 12. Utah is in dire need of a win after losing its last four Big 12 games, and the Utes would love to ruin BYU’s perfect season. The Cougars’ ability to force turnovers is a big reason for their 8-0 record. Will they be able to show the same performance in the Holy War this week?

Live17 updates

  • Texas doubles lead

Quinn Ewers scores his second goal of the day, lofting a breezy pass towards Gunnar Helm.

  • West Virginia ties it together

The Mountaineers cut the score to 7-7 after Cincy QB Brendan Sorsby’s poor decision to get rid of the ball on interception. Anthony Wilson Jr. he caught it and returned it 79 yards for a touchdown.

  • Miami captures FG

The Yellow Jackets might gain a small moral victory by holding the Hurricanes in shooting position, but they’re in trouble after Jamal Haynes left the game with an injury. He’s out for the rest of today.

    Miami 10, Georgia Tech 7

  • On the Ohio State board

In Big Ten play, No. 2 Ohio State is coming off a home loss to Purdue this week, with the Buckeyes taking the field early after Will Howard’s fourth-down fumble.

  • Texas struck first

Meanwhile, Austin, Texas, tops the board. The Longhorns got a big play by reverse tackle Isaiah Bond and then capped off the drive with a 29-yard TD pass from Quinn Ewers to Matthew Golden.

  • Rising early in Cincy West Virginia

Cincinnati and West Virginia already have two conference losses, but the Big 12 is pretty wide open after last week, so while today is effectively a playoff game, the winner still has an outside chance to win the league title.

  • Goal for Miami!

The Hurricanes strike back two plays later with Elijah Arroyo catching and running for 74 yards! What a great start this is.

  • Goal to Georgia Tech!

In perhaps the biggest play of the morning, Georgia Tech wasted no time marching down the field for the first TD of the game.

Jamal Haynes tore the heart out of the Miami defense with a 65-yard run early and then capped off the drive with a 16-yard TD that included a nice jump cut.

  • We’re starting our first wave of games today. The first page is pretty light, so we’ll be featuring the highlights from around the country this morning.
