MOSCOW, 9 November. /TASS/. The sole candidate for the post of Russia’s new ambassador to the United States is currently awaiting paperwork from an official commission, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Saturday.

He stated that the issue is “not about the candidates, but about the single candidate.”

“We have started the official processes, we have a candidate and this person is currently going through all the official registration stages,” he added.
