One publisher turned RDR 2 into a high-speed nightmare

While Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t the friendliest place at the best of times, publisher Blurbs has turned Rockstar’s open-world western into glorious, glorious chaos. He was inspired by Australian comedian Tom Walker. Who did something similar in GTA 4Blurbs has created a PC mod where each wagon moves at turbo speed.

The results are amazing, even more so than in GTA 4. For a start, GTA 4’s cars at least stick to the roads, but Red Dead Redemption 2 consists of very complex roads and dirt tracks, which means you might encounter a horse-car scratched everywhere. And so, while the Blurbs try to play the game properly, things go horribly and hilariously wrong.

This effect even applies to protagonist Arthur Morgan’s own carriages and some (but not all) horses. As Arthur and his crew roll towards a mansion, they suddenly and fatally crash into a wall. And while Blurbs-as-Arthur is praised for his ingenuity, the car he’s chasing launches into the air and lands in a lake.

What about St. Denis? Due to the density of traffic, cars rush through the streets like missiles, destroying everyone they encounter. We’re going to assume that these virtual horses wander off the screen, confused, but worse, worn out. Watch Blurb’s high-speed antics below.

This isn’t the first time Blurbs has subverted the Red Dead Redemption 2 promise. They had previously modified Red Dead Redemption 2 to make every single NPC better, even those in the cutscenes. completely drunk. Blurbs brought chaos to Skyrim as well, and towards the end of the video, NPC chat modes are coming to RDR 2.
