BRIDGEWATER, Maine (WABI) – A Presque Isle woman suffered serious injuries following a crash in Bridgewater.

The incident happened on Bootfoot Road on Thursday afternoon.

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office said the driver, Andrea Fitzherbert, lost control of her car and it went off the road and crashed into a telephone pole across the street.

It was said that Fitzherbert was ejected from his vehicle after it rolled over several times.

He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The investigation into the accident continues.
