OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) — One person died after flames broke out at a mobile home park in Madera County on Friday.

The fire started at Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park in Oakhurst around 4 p.m.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office has not yet identified the deceased.

The fire destroyed two mobile homes and displaced an unknown number of people.

Investigators continue to work to determine what caused the fire.
