via Miami Heat: “INJURY UPDATE FROM #MIAvs: Jimmy Butler left tonight’s game against the Nuggets with a right ankle sprain. He will not return.”

On Friday night, the Miami Heat will face the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.

In the first half, Jimmy Butler was injured and went to the locker room.

Butler had two points, one rebound and two assists on 1/2 shooting in the first seven minutes.

Butler averaged 18.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game, while shooting 47.7% from the field and 16.7% from three in seven games.

There was no statement from the team about his availability for the rest of the night.

“He just left the game and walked to the locker room.”

The Heat are 3-4 in the first seven games of the new season.

They last lost to the Phoenix Suns in Arizona with a score of 115-112.

After Denver, the Heat will play their next game on Sunday night, visiting Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
