ARIZONA — The Arizona Cardinals are checking on safety Jalen Thompson (ankle) and Jonah Williams (knee) ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the New York Jets.

Thompson, who practiced well on Wednesday, appeared on Arizona’s injury report Thursday but was still available and showed limited activity. There was no game Friday for Thompson, who has played in every game this season and put his status on the line in the Cardinals’ final game before their bye week.

If Thompson can’t play, Arizona will likely use backup Joey Blount or rookie Dadrion Taylor-Demerson.

Two weeks ago, Blount gave Pat Tillman the scout team player of the week award.
