Police arrest Lebanon High School teacher over child pornography investigation

LEBANON, Mo. (KY3) – Police arrested a Lebanon High School teacher accused in a child pornography investigation.

Marcella Cadle faces multiple charges, including possession of child pornography, providing pornographic material to a minor and fourth-degree assault. A judge ordered him held without bail.

Police responded to the 700 block of Brice Street regarding allegations of pornographic material being sent to minors. Following the investigation, Lebanon High School teacher Cadle was arrested.

Police believed he had exchanged the material with a student. The student told police he tried to resist, but Cadle became more persistent.

Lebanon R-III School District officials are cooperating with the investigation, police said. The Lebanon Police Department encourages citizens to immediately report to local police anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate, or sexual contact with children.

Cadle teaches in the agriculture department.
