GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — A Traverse City man was arrested and denied bail after being accused of sexually abusing a child under the age of 13 dating back to 2021.

Keith Jung, 52, of Traverse City, Minn., was arrested Wednesday on several first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges.

Michigan State Police said the investigation began last month when a victim claimed she had been sexually assaulted by Minn since 2021. The victim was interviewed at the Traverse Bay Child Advocacy Center.

A report was filed with the Grand Traverse County Prosecutor’s Office and an arrest warrant was issued on November 4. He was arrested Nov. 6, Minn., and booked into the Grand Traverse County Jail.

Minn., was arraigned Thursday on three counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct (victim under 13, defendant over 17).

His bond request was denied and he remains in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
