What makes the Casio x APC A1000 so attractive? There are a few things. The most attractive detail for me is the dial. The LCD screen remains unchanged, of course, but APC has gotten rid of all the unnecessary labels, markings and colors that Casio normally bombards the screen with, leaving only two subtle brand logos at the top.

The dial is also the same color as the case and bracelet (gold or silver, depending on the reference you choose), which adds to the clean, simplified look. It also has a slight mirror effect for some shine. The mode labels for the pushers are still on the watch, but have been moved to the case back.
