Four Veterans Day events will be held in Gaston County

As Veterans Day approaches, Gaston County organizations are planning events to honor those who fought for the United States.

The Cramerton Community Committee and the Cramerton Historical Society will host a celebration on Monday, November 11, starting at 11:11 a.m. at the Cramerton independent Presbyterian Church, 151 8th Ave. The event will include color presentation, singing of the national anthem and prayer. , introducing and recognizing dignitaries, commemorating veterans, and closing comments with taps before the meal is served.
