Prosecutors say a Palmyra man admitted in court to producing child pornography.

John Aldrich IV, 54, pleaded guilty this week to producing child pornography. The charge carries a 15-year prison sentence.

The investigation into Aldrich began in March 2024 and revealed ongoing physical and sexual abuse of minors in Palmyra.

The victim was 14 years old when the pattern of abuse began. Officials said this situation lasted a year.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 12, 2025.
