Christian McCaffrey didn’t let the San Francisco 49ers rest as they headed into Week 9. The star running back had already missed the win against the Cowboys in Week 8 as he continues to recover from an Achilles injury that has kept him out of every game this season.

But last week, while Kyle Shanahan’s men watched from the comfort of their homes, they went back to work to prepare. Week 10 matchup against Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I hope McCaffrey is on the team.

What type of injury does McCaffrey have?

The day after beating the Seahawks on Oct. 10, San Francisco head coach Shanahan confirmed his stars might be sidelined for a while. The idea always seemed to be to get him back for Week 10 on Nov. 10, when San Francisco will face the Bucs. So, now that we’re almost there, what does the coach say?

“The last two days have been great.” said Shanahan. “You never know (injury-related) a setback or anything, but “These two days have been great and I look forward to seeing him there.”

Is that enough to give Fantasy Football executives across the country the confidence to launch it? There’s no doubt we’ll get more information as Sunday approaches.
