KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A woman is behind bars for allegedly abusing an elderly person and assaulting multiple law enforcement officers during her arrest.

Pettis County, Missouri, Circuit Court Records filed on Monday, Nov. 4, reveal that Sarah E. Setzer, 34, of Green Ridge, was charged in connection with harassment of an elderly individual. He is charged with two counts of assault, harassment of an elderly person and resisting or interfering with arrest.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office He stated that on November 3, law enforcement officers were called to the residence upon a report of abuse against an elderly person. When they arrived, they saw Setzer hitting an old man twice in the face.

As law enforcement officers attempted to arrest Setzer, they said he kicked one of them, who continued fighting and making threats in an attempt to avoid arrest.

As of Thursday, Nov. 7, Setzer remains behind Pettis County bars on $5,000 bond. A hearing has not yet been scheduled in the case.
