26-year-old man charged with murder fatal shot According to police, the incident happened over the weekend in northeast Dallas.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 12:20 a.m. on Nov. 2 near the 9200 block of Skillman Street. The victim was not at the scene, but police later learned that 29-year-old Emethius Cheron Hardeman had been dropped off somewhere. at a local hospital where he later died from a gunshot wound.

On Thursday, Dallas police announced that the U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Darrion Berry-Scott in connection with the case.

They did not offer a possible motive for the attack, and it was not immediately clear whether the two men knew each other.
