“This market will move higher in anticipation of deregulation policy in D.C.,” Emanuel wrote in a note Wednesday. he wrote.

Emanuel said Trump will likely move quickly to enact his policies once he re-enters the White House. He said things like deregulation and corporate tax cuts would boost business activity and allow inventories to rise.

He said the two-year run of the bull market was driven by strong growth in large-cap technology stocks and that high valuations would rise further.

“There’s a history of what’s expensive getting more expensive and lasting longer with greater returns,” Emanuel said.

He pointed to data showing that the average bull market has seen a 152% increase in 50 months, while the current market has seen only a 65% increase in the last 25 months.
