Kansas City Chiefs‘ Tight End posted a series of photos on his Instagram account on Wednesday, celebrating the team’s undefeated record following Monday night’s thrilling overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Arrowhead at night,” the post’s caption read.

However, the post celebrating the league’s only remaining undefeated team sparked mixed reactions from some fans regarding its timing.

One social media user wrote in part: “I feel like maybe this post could be postponed to any day other than today.”

“Read the room Travis,” another comment read.

“Travis (please) don’t mourn right now,” a third post read.

While many comments praised her post, some users also defended her.

“It surprises me that some of you think he shouldn’t be posting about today’s football game because the election didn’t go your way,” one comment said. “This is a footballers’ page, not a political page. Some users also called out the three-time Super Bowl champion after his girlfriend: Taylor Swift, He openly endorsed Harris’ candidacy for president.

Swift was rumored to be planning to attend Harris’ pre-Election Day rally in Pennsylvania, but was spotted in a suite at Arrowhead for the Chiefs’ game on Monday night.
