Signing fee for confirmed striker target revealed

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush and a new report has revealed the fee required to sign the striker.

The 25-year-old Egyptian has been in superb form in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in nine matches so far.

Only Bayern Munich’s superstar Harry Kane stood out on the scoreboards in Marmoush’s scoring tally, attracting the attention of Europe’s leading teams.

According to the German outlet Fussball News, Eintracht Frankfurt are ready to part ways with their goal machine for a fee of €60 million (£50 million / $64.8 million).

Nottingham Forest made a €25m bid for Marmoush over the summer and the report suggests they are close to agreeing a deal, showing how much Marmoush’s value has risen this season.

The report claims: LiverpoolBayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Marmoush, so we could see a bidding war flare up for him in 2025.

Marmoush is open to pursuing a new challenge elsewhere and a move to the Premier League appeals to him, but it is unclear at this stage whether any side would be suitable for his price tag.

Liverpool’s interest in Marmuş confirmed – sources

Liverpool’s priorities for their upcoming transfer window are to bring in a new midfielder and centre-back, but there is no doubt that they are fans of Marmuş.

Sources told TEAMtalk last month: Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Marmoush this season as they evaluate his transfer in 2025.

Chelsea are keen to add some firepower up front as long as it does not hinder the development of striker Nicolas Jackson. We can confirm that Marmuş is on the club’s radar and discussions are taking place to understand the possibilities of a deal.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are well equipped in the forward department with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota as their main options, but Slot is thought to want more competition for the duo.

Arsenal, on the other hand, wants to buy a productive striker who can compete with Kai Havertz. Their top targets are Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, but Marmoush is also on the shortlist.

Liverpool recap: Reds join latest Quenda race / Dias deal

Meanwhile, sources have revealed to TEAMtalk that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Sporting CP winger Geovany Quenda but will face competition for his signature.

Ruben Amorim is keen for Quenda to reunite at Manchester United, while Arsenal, Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus are also interested in him.

TEAMtalk understands this Arsenal approached Quenda’s representatives in recent days to gauge his interest in a possible move to the Emirates.

The 17-year-old is under contract until 2027 and has a €100 million (£84 million/$104 million) release clause in his contract. Sporting are determined to keep Quenda until at least the end of the season and a move in January is unlikely, but that could change next summer if a club makes an offer close to the exit clause.

On the other hand, Liverpool are willing to tie Luis Diaz to a new contract thanks to his rich form under Arne Slot, while a new contract is about to be announced for Ibrahima Konate.

This according to Fabrizio Romano said: “I wouldn’t be surprised to see Liverpool negotiate a new deal with Diaz, after Ibrahima Konate is the next name to renew his contract. Liverpool want to try to make a new deal with Lucho, let’s see what happens.”
