The restaurant announced that not only will it be opening at 283 Hamilton Row in Birmingham in December, but both the new location and the original restaurant in the West Village are taking orders for Thanksgiving takeout.

Once opened, Birmingham’s Marrow will feature a counter stocked with aged steaks, sausages and other artisanal deli meats, as well as gourmet pantry items.

The dinner section of the 1,400-square-foot establishment will serve elevated breakfasts and lunches, including sandwiches, snacks, coffee drinks and more prepared by Marrow’s executive chef and partner Sarah Welch and her team. Welch is a James Beard Award-nominated chef and was a finalist on the 19th season of Bravo’s “Top Chef.”
