Mark Wahlberg’s Vegas Restaurant Goes Up in Flames with Shocking Images

Mark Wahlberg’s Mexican restaurant Flecha Cantina went up in flames Wednesday night. The Las Vegas-based restaurant, which the actor opened in September, caught fire around 5.30pm local time, with videos showing large flames on the restaurant’s patio.

Images were shared on social media People standing outside the restaurant were seen watching flames erupt inside the building. A fire truck was also seen parked outside the restaurant.

Restaurant officials confirmed Fox News Digital It was stated that a “small patio fire” occurred as a result of a “malfunctioning fire pit” that caught fire at the bottom. Flecha Cantina officials added that “the only damage was the fire pit and the chair next to it.” Sources told TMZ No one was injured in the fire. An hour later, the system was back to operating as usual, and officials confirmed that “the fire suppression company came back and recharged the system.”

The fire Wednesday evening marks a rocky start for the restaurant, which opened Sept. 14. Located in Vegas’ Town Square mall, the Mexican restaurant has “redefined” Mexican cuisine. A menu containing items such as Taquitos de Pollo, handmade corn tortilla tacos, enchiladas, Chilaquiles and more.

Ironically, Flecha Cantina also touts fire as a key part of its marketing. The restaurant’s website says:“Flavor, Fire, Flecha. Re-experience Modern Mexican cuisine through the eyes of Mark Wahlberg and his team of chefs and restaurateurs. Crafted by renowned international chefs and mixologists, our menu blends Mexican classics with contemporary fire. The Las Vegas location is one of two Flecha Cantina restaurants that Wahlberg operates. There is also a Flecha Cantina in Huntington Beach, California.

A well-known actor whose credits include: Boogie Nights, Three Kings, those who leftand more, Wahlberg has also made a name for himself as a restaurateur. In addition to the Flecha Cantina locations, the actor also owns Wahlburgers with his Paul and Donnie. The franchise includes dozens of locations in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Wahlberg previously told Fox News about his interest in dining, saying he wants people to “have the greatest experience they’ve ever had at a restaurant.” “I want them to feel at home, loved and spoiled.”
