ORANGE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – One person was airlifted to the hospital following a serious crash in Orange Wednesday afternoon.

According to Orange Fire Rescue, the call came in just before 4:30 p.m.

The crash occurred on Route 2 westbound near exit 71.

Details are still limited at this time, but we do know that one person was taken by helicopter to Athol Hospital.

No other injuries were reported and the condition of the person brought to hospital is unknown at this time.
