WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW)—Interstate 70 has reopened from Colby to Denver, Colorado, after a winter storm closed it Wednesday morning, the Kansas Department of Transportation said. St. U.S. Highway 36 west of St. Francis into Colorado remains closed.

In the early hours of the day, Kansas Department of Transportation cameras Roads west of Goodland were covered in snow, while the National Weather Service in Goodland reported moderate to heavy snowfall.
