Street Artist Banksy’s Exhibition Showcasing Over 170 Artworks Comes to Singapore This December

You’ll soon get a rare, up-close look at the iconic works of anonymous street artist Banksy. The Art of Banksy: Unlimited The exhibition opens for the first time at 25 Scotts Road in Singapore this December. Presented by Muse Marketing & Entertainment and Fever, this global sensation has captivated more than 2.1 million visitors across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States.

For those unfamiliar, Banksy is an elusive street artist known for turning graffiti into social commentary. Best known for his patterned works that appear in unexpected places, the artist tackles big topics such as war, capitalism and politics with a mischievous touch. Some of Banksy’s most famous works include:Girl with Balloona touching piece showing a young girl releasing a red heart-shaped balloon; It is often interpreted as a symbol of hope, love or loss. Flower ShooterAnother iconic image depicts a masked protester throwing a bouquet of flowers instead of a gun, capturing the power of peaceful rebellion.

Spanning 1,200 square metres, the Singapore exhibition will feature more than 170 works of art by Banksy, including originals, lithographs, sculptures, video mapping installations and immersive experiences such as the ‘infinity room’ that tackle political themes. Fans can also expect highlights such as pieces from Banksy’s famous ‘Dismaland’ pop-up and a replica of the Walled Off Hotel lobby inspired by the 2017 project criticizing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
