PACIFICA, Calif. (FOX26) — Pacifica Police say a 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with multiple sexual assaults spanning several locations.

The Pacifica Police Department said at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 30, detectives arrested Jason Crist.

Crist was arrested on a $500,000 warrant for 28 counts of aggravated sexual assault.

Crist was found at his home by police and arrested without incident and booked into Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City.

The arrest follows an investigation launched in January 2022 by Pacifica Police Department detectives.

Some of the attacks took place in Pacifica and others in various National Parks, with multiple victims, police said.

Pacifica Police Department detectives worked with the U.S. National Parks Marshals Service and the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office throughout the investigation.
