Stark County voters re-elect Kyle Stone as district attorney

“This election showed me that Stark County is satisfied with the level of integrity I have conducted over the last four years,” Stone said. “I am grateful and will continue to work.”

Stone will begin his four-year term on Jan. 6, and his annual salary will start at $156,066 and increase 1.75% each year in accordance with state law.

As prosecutor, Stone is responsible for investigating and pursuing convictions against those accused of crimes in the county, handling civil cases involving county offices and officials, and providing legal advice to county and county officials as well as tax-supported public libraries and school districts. . He will also be responsible for managing an office of approximately 70 employees and managing a budget of approximately $6 million.
