Andrew Pearce, 49, smoked cannabis before picking up the child from school and then crashed into the back of a BMW on the A442. telford.

As a result of the accident, Pearce’s partner suffered a broken wrist.

Telford Magistrates’ Court heard how police were called to a traffic collision between Pearce’s Volkswagen Fox and a BMW at 4.30pm on July 1 this year.

Pearce, his partner and his stepson were standing on the side of the road when police arrived at the scene. Volkswagen’s airbags exploded.
