Heat vs. Suns Prediction, Odds, and Key Players to Watch for Wednesday, November 6

The Miami Heat are looking to bounce back from a bad loss to the Sacramento Kings on Monday, as the Heat took a double-digit lead in the first half and came up short on a game-winning shot from Domantas Sabonis.

Now Miami heads out to play Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, who are off to a fast start this season with a 6-1 record.

Phoenix nearly lost to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday but came away with a two-point win. Phoenix didn’t cover the spread at a high rate, but oddsmakers have it in favor by a 5.5-point margin in this matchup.

Let’s dive into the odds, key players to watch, and my best bets for Wednesday’s contest.

Suns Injury Report

Miami Heat

Bam Adebayo: Bam Adebayo, who scored only 44 points in the first four games of the season, scored 48 points in the last two games; He shot 19-for-39 and 3-for-6 from 3. Miami needs more offense. especially in the third quarter if he wants to pull off an upset on Wednesday.

Phoenix Suns

Devin Booker: Could this be a comeback game for Booker? The star guard shot just 3-for-18 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, dropping his shooting percentage to 41.9 percent on the season. DBook had a 40-point game last week, so I’d expect him to turn things around at home tonight.

The outcome of this game could be decided in the third quarter, and I don’t hate betting on the Suns in that period.

Phoenix ranks fourth in the NBA in offensive rating in the third quarter, while the Heat are in last place. Miami lost 37-17 in Game 3 of its loss to the Kings on Monday and now must go on the road against Phoenix’s talented offense.

Overall, Phoenix ranks eighth in the NBA in net rating, but both teams have just two wins against the spread on the season.

Still, Miami’s third-season and overall offensive woes (17th in offensive rating) are concerning on the road.

I will share the points with the Suns, who are 4-0 ahead in the 2024-25 season.
