A soldier from Va., who was injured while working on the Gaza pier project, died.

In May, a US soldier who was injured while working on an American-made pier to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza died.

US military officials did not provide details on exactly how Stanley was injured, but said it was not in combat. He died on Thursday and was appointed to the post. Expeditionary 7th Transportation Brigade at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Newport News.
