But at one level this is a traditional election outcome. The party that stupidly failed to manage the economy (during the inflation epidemic) and lost control of the borders (during the influx of illegal immigrants) was punished at the ballot box. This includes the Republican Party winning back the U.S. Senate while maintaining control of the House of Representatives.
