Billionaire and top Harris campaign surrogate Mark Cuban I congratulated Donald Trump about his apparent victory in the 2024 presidential election early Wednesday morning.

“Congratulations @realDonaldTrump. You won fair and square. Congratulations to @elonmusk too. “#Godspeed,” Cuban wrote on his old Twitter account, X, at 1:23 a.m.

Cuban’s post came just two minutes after Decision Desk HQ predicted Trump garnered enough electoral votes to defeat the Vice President and return to the White House Kamala Harris.

The billionaire has been a prominent and passionate surrogate for Harris throughout her brief campaign. In a remarkable appearance Appearance Cuba last week defended “You will never see him (Trump) around strong, intelligent women. Without stopping. It’s that simple. They scare him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them, and you know, Nikki Haley will call him out on his nonsense about reproductive rights and how he views women, how he treats them, and how he talks about them. So he can’t keep her with him. Useless.”

Trump and his campaign capitalized on the comments by framing them as a personal attack on Trump’s female supporters.

Trump on Truth Social applauded back Mark Cuban, a really stupid guy who thinks he’s a ‘hot thing’ but is an absolute nobody, is now out there saying I don’t surround myself with strong women. I am actually very wrong, I surround myself with the strongest women – With the understanding that ALL women are amazing, strong or not. “This guy is so stupid, he’s always being critical on TV, and that’s only because I didn’t listen to him at all when I was President because he kept calling.”

“No one loves her, no one respects her, and she is unattractive inside and out! “He should come back to talk about the person he was forced to support because I didn’t want that, Liar Kamala Harris,” he added.

Harris herself has yet to concede the election. His campaign said he would address the country on Wednesday.
