Carson’s record was held by Vanderbilt’s Earl Bennett in a 48-43 loss to Kentucky on Nov. 12. 2005, South Carolina’s Sidney Rice earned a 45-6 victory over Florida Atlantic on September 23, 2006. AlabamaDeVonta Smith beat Ole Miss 59-31 on September 28, 2019, and Tennessee’s Jalin Hyatt beat Alabama 52-49 on October 15, 2022. Watkins’ receiving yards rank 12th in the SEC for a game. He broke AJ Brown’s school record with 233 receiving yards in a 47-27 win over South Alabama on September 2, 2017.

11 Georgia QB Carson Beck’s interceptions in his last five games come after he was ejected six times in his previous 17 starts. In the Bulldogs’ last five games, Beck was intercepted three times by Alabama, Texas and Florida and twice by Mississippi State (Auburn failed to make an interception). In addition to three interceptions during Georgia’s 34-20 victory over Florida on Saturday, Beck passed for 309 yards and a touchdown as the game was tied at 13-13 and 20-20.
