Kansas Presidential Election 2024 Live Results

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Kansas for the state’s six Electoral College votes. Trump’s speech to voters focused on the economy, immigration and crime. Since Harris took over as the Democratic standard-bearer following the departure of President Joe Biden, she has argued for ushering in a new era and campaigned for improving the care economy, protecting abortion rights and preserving democracy. The conservative state voted in support of Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won Kansas with 56% of the vote to Biden’s 42%. In 2016, Trump won Kansas with 57 percent of the votes, while Hillary Clinton received 36 percent. The state is historically red, and it has been 60 years, or 15 election cycles, since the state voted for Democratic candidate Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
