Two interim administrators have been appointed to a charity in Liverpool while the investigation continues.

The Charity Commission has launched a legal investigation into Eldonian Community Trust Ltd over concerns about its management.

The charity, based around Eldonian Village in the city’s Vauxhall district, was founded in 1987 to “advance education” and establish a community centre.

The commission appointed two new directors on Oct. 24 to “assume certain duties, excluding persons serving as trustees.”
