Three WWE stars were released from their contracts ahead of last week’s Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

Baron CorbinTegan Nox and Indi Hartwell have now left the company and the breaking news has caught many in the wrestling world off guard.

Corbin was reportedly told his contract would not be extended once it expired.

Meanwhile, Nox and Hartwell will become free agents who can wrestle elsewhere within the next 90 days.

Corbin, who had been in office for 12 years, was released WWEIt was a special surprise for many fans.

Nox and Hartwell, who left WWE last Friday, also made statements.

“Some things are out of your control and you can only do what you can. But let’s get one thing straight. I’m ready. I was ready. I just need to show people what they’re missing.” Nox wrote to X.

The Welsh star, who has now changed his X username to Nixon Newell, also shared a poster that said “Nixon is alive” and titled his post “90 days…”.

Meanwhile, Hartwell also shared a short statement: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
