Woman injured in stabbing at Forest Hills MBTA station expected to survive

A woman initially believed to have life-threatening injuries in a stabbing near the Forest Hills MBTA station in Jamaica Plain is now expected to survive, according to Boston police.

Police responded to the station around 4:17 p.m. Monday afternoon, the sergeant said. Detective John Boyle, Boston Police spokesman. There the police found a woman with stab wounds. He was brought to a hospital.

The woman’s injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening, but Boyle said her condition was improving and she is now expected to survive.
