“The past few months have been very good, it has made me want to push even harder and made me feel that this is just the beginning and I have a long way to go. This has given me the motivation to continue what I am doing and do better,” he added.

“Everyone welcomed me warmly, I saw a few people I had seen around before, so it was not difficult to get involved in a new environment. “The games were good, I had a lot of game time and we managed to finish top of the group… it was a good experience.”

Our Under-21 Women’s Team return to Professional Play Academy League action on Wednesday with Nick Hardy traveling to Brighton for the first match of the second stage and Jhanaie is keen to get started once again.

“I’m looking forward to it and I’m looking forward to the game on Wednesday. I think going into the second phase of the season, especially in terms of play, I don’t want to rush anything and I don’t want to keep the ball and we’re going to have to work together as a team and have each other’s backs.”
