HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Three people were hospitalized after a crash involving multiple vehicles and a semitrailer on the H-2 Freeway on Monday.

The incident took place around 11 a.m. in the northern lanes near Mililani.

A 32-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services. The 26-year-old woman was hospitalized in stable condition.

The state Department of Transportation closed the area to one lane due to permanent striping.
