It’s not often that Giants fans agree with Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, but Monday was probably one of those times.

Parsons takes Giants to task on podcast Eagles running back Barkley on his podcast for allowing him to leave as a free agent Rushed for 159 yards against Jaguars and scored two touchdowns, one on the ground and the other on a catch, in an impressive performance on Sunday.

Parsons, who played with Barkley at Penn State, called the situation a “blessing in disguise” for Barkley while criticizing the Giants’ “stupidity” in how things went.

Barkley has helped the Eagles to a 6-2 record this season, while the Giants have won just two games and are coming off a loss to the Commanders on Sunday.

“People may say this is old Saquon, but Saquon always was,” Parsons said of Barkley. “Knowing him so far at Penn State, I knew he was talented at this. For Saquon, it’s a blessing in disguise that comes from the power of people seeing what you can do when they appreciate you.”

Barkley was able to show the Giants and the front office that let him walk what a big mistake they made when he rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 against the Eagles in his first game back at MetLife Stadium last month.

Parsons criticized the treatment of Barkley by Giants fans upon his return and took aim at the team once again in his final segment.

“The Giants didn’t appreciate him, and now the rest of the league is facing the consequences of the Giants’ stupidity. “He’s always been that way,” Parsons continued. “I don’t want to say he lost confidence, but he probably lost confidence in the system. The people who were his obstacles. I mean, what more can you say? The guy was dynamic. He was worth the money and more.”

“Let’s just thank the Giants for their stupidity.”

Parsons’ Cowboys Own problems at 3-5 and quarterback Dak Prescott’s injurywill have to face Barkley and the Eagles this weekend.
