CAMDEN, Ark. (KNOE) – Two people have been arrested following an early morning fatal shooting in Ouachita County on Sunday, November 3.

The Camden Police Department responded to a shooting in Ivory Heights around 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 3. The victim was taken to UAMS where he died.

Investigators said they identified Marcus Epps as the suspect.

Camden police said they went to Trameisha Tooks’ home as part of the investigation and that Tooks was not following the rules while there. A search warrant was obtained for Tooks’ home.

While searching Tooks’ home, police said they found Epps and arrested him. Epps was arrested on a capital murder charge.

Tooks was arrested for obstructing the arrest of Epps, police said.

The investigation continues.
